Recently the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Associaton announced its winners for its renOVATION Awards given out to recognize excellence in home renovation design and construction.

This year Sherwood Painting and Decorating was proud to be involved in two of this years winning projects. Reid Developments won for Best Exterior Renovation, Whole House for their project "Chancellor" in Vancouver. Also, Harald Koehn Construction won for Best Renovation, $250,000 to $399.000 for their project "Mariner's Retreat" in South Surrey.

We would also like to congratulate CCI Renovations of North Vancouver for winning Renovator of the Year, Large Volume.

We had a pleasure working along side these builders and their subtrades on these remarkable projects and we look forward to working with many current and future GVHBA members in the months and years ahead.

Congratulations to Josh Young of Revision Custom Home Renovatons Inc for winning the Sherwood Painting grand prize of $1000.00 in painting services at our trade show booth located at Red Robinson Theatre in Coquitlam on April 24th, 2010. We would like to also congratulate Dwayne Gosse of Mosaic Homes for winning are tabletop draw of a Samsung 1080p High Definition Television. GST to become HST on July 1st, 2010. Book your painting projects now and save!

On July 1st, 2010 the GST will be replace by the 12% HST. What this will mean to services such as painting is an added 7% to the end cost of our services.
